Finally, he comes upon a vintage coach that brightens his eyes. He brings his prize home in dubious condition. For a time he drools over it. He washes and polishes it. He drives it and flaunts it, hoping to be appreciated as one who is well healed with disposable income. All too soon, reality sets in, and he finds that he must dispose of his income servicing his dream. As one thing after another breaks down, finding repair parts and service becomes his full-time occupation. As passion turns into ordeal, his dream ends up gathering dust, getting parked in the garage, waiting for better times and better mechanics.
